Perhaps Coach Smith didn't "allow" Rondo to play like Rondo wanted to play
because every time Coach called a play Rondo refused to run the play.  Can
you recall the last pass Rondo made to Patrick Sparks?  It never happened.
Egocentric is synonymous with each and every recruit UK has had since 1999.

Rondo ran the plays called.  If not he would have been sitting on the bench.
By far the best talent on the team last year, the system is the problem.

Rondo will be a role player at best in the NBA.  He will be used at the end
of games for defensive pressure.

Second player Tubby has had to be first round pick (should be) and Tubby
could not
utilize his skills....

The true definition of a point guard is one who sets up other players to
score.  John Stockton and Magic Johnson come to mind.

They were good/great.

Please learn to spell and use proper grammar.

Wut u nut liek?

Rondo one of draft's 'biggest puzzles'
But he's expected to go in first round

He's one of the biggest puzzles of this draft," said Marty Blake, the NBA's
director of scouting. "He's going to have to show that he can shoot it
consistently."

Too bad Tubby didn't allow Rondo to have and use his outside shot in
conjunction with his drive ability, quick on quick offensive and defensive
gifts.

The outside shot was taken completely away by Tubby's total offensive scheme
and Tubby's definition on a 'point guard', setup other playes to score,
forget about shot pressure.
Duke's guard this year was likely the best point guard in the nation. He
scored outside, inside, pullups and helped other players to score.

Tubby took away Rondo's game which the NBA scouts want from Rondo. Rondo
played two years for Kentucky and did not get the balance of repitions the
NBA would like Rondo to have had.

I think Rondo will excell in the NBA because the more progressive
coaches(Riley and Johnson) will lick their chops to retrain within the next
2 to 3 years in anticipation of the 'real Rhondo'!

Rondo, if handled properly in a Dallas Mavericks System will be a superstar.

The adjustments to the NBA will take some time for Rondo to learn.
Bigger and better players, playing several times a week, travel and being
able to handle money and the proverbial 'hangers on ers', are normal for all
NBA players, I would suggest!

Scouts don't question former University of Kentucky guard Rajon Rondo's
decision to forgo his final two years of eligibility and enter tomorrow's
NBA draft.
The 6-foot-2 point guard is considered a defensive wizard and a first-round
talent. That would ensure him a guaranteed contract worth millions.
